J-Style+ @Maison & Objet
This is a display booth for J-style+ sponsored by JETRO at Maison & Objet in Paris.
The show features various objects of all sizes, from small products to furniture, all gathered in one place. Our intention is to design a display space that accommodates all objects equally regardless of differences. Two types of display tables are used according to the size of objects; one of the display tables is ColoRing in one of our furniture lines, which has a distinct presence in space; the other is a simple white display platform, which blends in the white background. Small objects are displayed on ColoRing tables and large objects are displayed on plain white display platforms; By combining objects and display furniture of contrasting intensities, we aim to create equilibrium in space.
Our new piece in ColoRing series, which is made of round timber, adds a rough texture in display space. Objects in various sizes and materials are equally embraced within this generous space. Circulation routes are not physically defined, and gathering space is not designated either.
We intend to plan a space that allows people to freely enter and exit.
